7:00am, and I called to see were he is this morning. Rest of the crew is ready to leave.
"It's too cold to work outside today. I am not coming in."
Good god! It is 15 degrees and windchill is at 10.
I am in insultated boots, and coveralls, as are the other members of the crew.
Goverment doesn't care if its cold, - you have a job to do.
And its too cold for him to get his ass out of bed to come to work? Or to call and tell me he is not coming in? I had to wake him up to find out, as he is still asleep?
Ohhhhh..... Weak!
"I will come in at 8:00 and work around the warehouse."
Oh Contrary.... you can stay home all day.

Plan for today when I went to bed last night: Work until 9:30am, then go with my brother to his doctor appointment. Return, I hoped, by lunch to work again on posting checks. Slow day at work and my sister is working on the military bills.
It went to hell around 9:30am. *smiles*
Brother did not want to go to his doctor appointment and canceled, not telling me. Then at 11:30, I received an order for a courier run to Louisville, Ky.
Hitting the road at noon, I was standing on 3th street and Main in downtown Louisville, Ky. by 2:45 pm, lost. I see 234…it is an Interior Design shop. I walk in to find someone to ask were 235 is, and the woman behind the small wooden desk looks up from her papers.
I swear- her eyes travel over me from my tennis shoes, the boot cut jeans that are clean, and a red sweater (Kmart on sale. lol) She speaks in a tone. “I will be right with you.” Ok… I stand there with an envelope in my hand, clearly marked DSL, and wait. She flips thru the paperwork, and I grow bored with this …game?
I look over to a shelf and see a nice vase shape lamp and I reached up to see the price of $480.00, on sale from $630.00. Wow… and it had a plastic lined lampshade. “How may I help you?” Ahhh the secret to getting her out of that chair- start touching the merchandise.
I smile and ask if she could tell me were the address, or the company was. She played with her pear necklace, and just looked at me as if I was a bug. Hey- I did my hair, and makeup, I took a shower this morning. Fought back the urge to sniff under my arm. “I have no ideal.”
Now come on…
I keep my smile and look around the show room. I spotted a small chest and see red, greens, black, and gold. Lacquered, carving of fish, flower and fruit in fine detail. Metal handles ringed a bell for me. “Is that a Tibet cabinet?”
She stopped playing with her peals and looked over at the chest. “Yes, it is.” Her nose came down a little. That is when my training kicked in. “You do know it has a bad scratch on the top left side edge?” She steps over to it, and I turned to leave. Lacquered furniture shows damage a mile away. Hate the stuff. “Have a great day.” I said as I left the shop.
I hate snobs… and people who judge you on your looks.
The business I was looking for? Galt House Hotel that was across the street and it was on the 10th floor of the business suites. The brass numbers, which marked the business suites, were removed off the marble sign for cleaning.
Right out her window and she did not know it? Uhh Huhh…
Problem with anger? Who? ME?!!

WTF, right? Oh.. and notice I did not go into the spelling? Why? Well that would just get me angry. LOL
Most people have to talk with me, or read my journal to know this about me. This person only read my profile and never talked to me.
